The
2009 Maine Boatbuilders Show is now history and
all of us at Roth Boat Builders enjoyed our time in Portland. We
met lots of great folks and saw wonderful examples of the boat
builder’s art on display in the funky surroundings of Portland
Yacht Services. Our
Nantucket Skiff and
Tribute
30 were both received with great enthusiasm. As one
magazine editor put it, the Tribute 30 is the first “just right”
boat he’s seen in a long time. Read Soundings editor

The Nantucket Skiff raffle to benefit the South Shore Women’s
Resource Center was held Tuesday, June 23 at Carmela’s Italian
Restaurant in Kingston, Massachusetts. The lucky winner was Melissa
Lannigan of Plymouth! Congratulations to Melissa and thank you to
everyone who participated in this fund raising effort for a very
worthy cause: domestic violence crisis intervention and counseling
services.
